SAINT PETER CHURCH
This church, built in the 14th century, is located in the heart of the village and is one of the main religious landmarks of Corniglia. Its Gothic-Ligurian facade is quite simple yet striking, and inside you can admire some local artworks.
PANORAMIC TERRACE
Corniglia is famous for its panoramic views. From various spots in the village, including the main square, you can enjoy spectacular vistas of the coastline and the sea. The belvedere is an ideal place to take photographs, especially at sunset.
LARDARINA STAIRWAY
The Lardarina stairway is a long and steep path with 382 steps that connects the village to the train station below. Although it is a bit tiring to climb, it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding valley and the sea.
VINEYARDS ON TERRACES
Corniglia is surrounded by vineyards, and one of the points of interest for nature lovers is visiting these plantations. The terraced hillsides are a testament to the region's agricultural tradition, which produces some of the typical wines of the Cinque Terre.
5 TERRE NATIONAL PARK
Corniglia is one of the access points to the Cinque Terre National Park, a protected area that offers numerous hiking trails. One of the most famous is the trail that connects Corniglia to Vernazza, providing stunning views and the chance to explore the pristine nature of the area.
CORNIGLIA TOWER
While there are no actual castles or imposing towers in Corniglia, there are some small watchtowers dating back to the medieval period. One of these is visible from the higher part of the village and adds an air of mystery to the landscape.
